Game Recap

The visiting Mountaineers faced the East Burke Cavaliers on Wednesday in a SMAC conference match. After starting out flat, the Mounties found the back of the net in the 16th minute with a shot by Jordan Sweezy who was assisted by Chase Yow. The half ended 1-0. 17 minutes into the second half, Jordan Sweezy found the back of the net again when he was assisted by Nolan Raby. In the 63rd minute, Nolan Raby had another assist. This time it was to Weston Harmon who slid it past the keeper into the goal. The Mountaineer defense held the Cavaliers to a scoreless game. The game ended 3-0. The Mountaineers are now 4-1 in conference and 6-1 overall. They will travel to East Rutherford on Monday the 21st for another SMAC conference match.
